«I met Alain during my Ekahau training in Saguenay.
First, I found him to be very well organized. Several days in advance, he asked us to reserve a room for the training and to have the building plans ready so we could do a demo. On the day of the training, we had our device and he had his own. We were able to go through the theory and review the fundamental but important principles of Wi-Fi. For him, there were no silly questions, and he answered all of ours. You can tell he has extensive experience in the field because his explanations are often supported by concrete examples or situations he has personally experienced or tested, which makes the course more engaging and enjoyable.
After reviewing the basics, we were able to become familiar with Ekahau, and Alain clearly explained the range of tools available in the software. He knows the software very well, stays up to date with the latest versions, and later on, whenever we ran into issues, he was responsive and did everything he could to find a solution. He provided us with training on the Sidekick 2, showing us how to move around to collect data with the best possible quality and relevance. He also showed us the best practices and the right habits to adopt during the demo. He even went beyond what was expected by showing us how far the Sidekick 2 results could be taken and used.
